Description
Driving along a back road in Tennessee one late spring day, I stumbled upon a field full of horses. The mares, stallions and geldings paid me no mind. But the colts...they were curious. They moved closer and looked at me with innocent curiosity. Their youthful eyes glistened as they studied my camera, and their tails and ears twitched when they heard the click of the shutter. Soon they became bored with me, and trotted back to their parents. But for a moment, I was able to enjoy their presence. This chestnut colt was playful, and with a flick of the tail, took off running a moment after this photo was taken.
