When one is preparing to leave us, it may look like a dark time, as if it's the end of their journey. When in reality, it's just the beginning.
This painting features a palette of cool blue and gray tones and I've added in a bit of golden yellow and orange, to represent the illuminating light waiting on the other side of the darkness.
